Caitlyn Jenner, who revealed gender transformation earlier this year, was honored with the Transgender Champion Award at Glamour Women of the Year 2015 on Monday, November 9. During her acceptance speech, the "I Am Cait" star said that her transformation could be the reason why she was put on earth.

"I sat down with my pastor, talked to him, about my issues. And yes, I had a lot of conversations with God," Caitlyn said during her acceptance speech. "And I came to the conclusion that you know what, maybe this is why god put me on this earth - to tell my story - to be authentic to myself about who I am and in doing that, maybe you can make a difference in the world."

The 66-year-old reality TV star attended the event in a plunging blue dress featuring highlighted colar detail. Caitlyn was joined by her daughter Kylie Jenner at the event. The 18-year-old model looked casual in a black crop top and ripped jeans jacket. Of why she opted to wear the outfit for the occasion, she said on Instagram that she suffered wardrobe malfunction.

"[I had] some major wardrobe malfunctions but that couldn't stop me from supporting the ones I love," Kylie wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her in the casual outfit. "You're amazing @caitlynjenner congrats on being woman of the year for @glamourmag."

Other celebrities in attendance included Reese Witherspoon, Selena Gomez, Amy Schumer, Victoria Adams a.k.a Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham and Lupita Nyong'o. Reese who was honored with the Hollywood Hero Award looked stunning in a long-sleeved dress featuring lace panel and floral pattern.

Victoria, meanwhile, looked gorgeous in a red sleeveless gown. The former Spice Girls singer was joined by her son Brooklyn who looked handsome in a black suit. Selena and Amy hit the red carpet of the event in matching red outfits.
