The network is holding online open auditions to find a girl between the ages of 11 and 13 to play the younger version of the rapper on its comedy.

AceShowbiz - ABC Family is in quest to find the next Nicki Minaj. The network is going to launch an online open casting call for a talented girl to play the young version of the Grammy Award-winning raptress on an upcoming sitcom about Minaj's life.
Girls between the ages of 11 and 13 who want to join the auditions can download the free Disney Applause app and follow the instructions. All materials will be accepted through November 15.
The half-hour single-camera series received a series commitment in September. Executive produced by the Trinidad-born superstar, it will highlight her upbringing following her family's immigration from Trinidad to Queens, New York in the 1990s that led to her eventual rise to stardom.
The "Anaconda" hitmaker will appear on the show and write raps that will be delivered by a young actress playing her. Shooting will begin in New York.
