AceShowbiz - "American Idol" takes a look back at some of the biggest moments in the show's history in a new promo for the final season. It includes old footage of Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino, Chris Daughtry, Kris Allen, David Cook, Lee DeWyze, Ruben Studdard and Phillip Phillips' victorious moments, set to Clarkson's coronation song "A Moment Like This".
The original judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson, are also featured in the video, without forgetting Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. who will be tackling the judging duty in the upcoming season.
"American Idol" farewell season kicks off January 2016 and will and "pay tribute to the past 14 seasons." FOX's chief Gary Newman said the show would welcome any of the alums if they wanted to return, adding, "We really wanted to do it in a way that felt special and celebratory."
