Accomplished artist Bailey, who has worked with the likes of Selena Gomez and Katy Perry, died of apparent suicide.

AceShowbiz - Make-up artist Jake Bailey died on Friday, October 23 from apparent suicide. Celebrities who had worked with him such as Ashley Benson, Octavia Spencer, Paris Hilton and Emmy Rossum have expressed their sadness over his unexpected death.
Bailey was found unresponsive by his assistant on Friday morning in his Los Angeles, California home. Cops were called and temporarily concluded that he died of carbon monoxide poison. He was 37. According to TMZ, the autopsy will be completed by the L.A. County Coroner's Office.
"Mr. Bailey was found unresponsive by his friend at his residence this morning at 8:25 A.M. on the 2200 block of Holly drive. There was an apparent suicide involving carbon monoxide poison. There's an autopsy pending. And the final cause of death are pending full toxicology," Los Angeles County Department of Medical examiner/coroner; assistant chief, Ed Winter, told HollywoodLife.com.
Bailey is known to have worked with Katy Perry, Lea Michele, Gwen Stefani, Zoe Saldana, Angelina Jolie and most prominently, Selena Gomez. Many stars sent their condolences via social media.

"I am absolutely devastated today by the passing of my dear friend @ByJakeBailey. The most loyal, beautiful soul in every way. I love you," Jenna Dewan tweeted. Meanwhile, Rossum tweeted, "I am gutted to hear of my friend Jake's passing. I saw him on Sunday, we flew together on a plane. He made me laugh as always."
Spencer posted a couple of tweets, hoping that the news would be an internet hoax. "My thoughts and prayers are with those who knew and loved #JakeBailey," she wrote once finding out the truth. Hilton, who said he worked for her for the past 15 years, wrote, "So sad, shocked & devastated to hear about @ByJakeBailey. He was such an amazing person, an incredibly talented makeup artIst & friend. He was my makeup artist for the past 15 years. We travelled the world together, worked on so many beautiful projects & shared so many memories. Will miss him so much. My thoughts & prayers go out to all his family & loved ones. Heaven has a new angel."
Meanwhile, Starworks Artists which represented Bailey, released a statement, "It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Jake Bailey's passing. He was an undeniable talent, a great friend, a loving son and brother, and our grief is shared with all those whose lives he's touched. He collaborated with some of the top photographers in the fashion and entertainment industries and was also a passionate photographer himself. Jake was a mentor to many, and his work will continue to inspire. He will be truly missed by those who knew him."
No words yet from both Gomez and Perry. Bailey glammed up Perry for her super-important gig at last year's Super Bowl halftime gig. He also did Gomez's make up in Pantene ads and Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.
