The space movie also rocked international box office, adding another $58.1 million from 74 markets for an early foreign total of $119 million and a global total of $227.7 million.

Animated comedy "Hotel Transylvania 2" performed really well in its third weekend, surpassing "Pan" with $20.4 million for a domestic total of $116.9 million. Fourth place went to "The Intern" which brought in $8.7 million for a domestic total of $49.6 million. Rounding out the top five was "Sicario", which added another $7.6 million from 2620 theaters.
