The 23-year-old singer is sulking in the rain throughout most of the black-and-white clip.

AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas has released the music video for his song "Area Code". Hitting YouTube on Friday, October 9, the black-and-white video sees the 23-year-old singer sulking in the rain while belting out the song.

The track is a continuation into Nick's more mature musical stylings. The lyrics contains some NSFW language including "I'm f***ed up, you don't even know", alcohol references "Yeah, all this liquor bringing out the truth" and plenty of sexual innuendo "You can't deny I gave it good to you."

When "Area Code" was first released in September, there was speculation that the song was about Nick's ex Selena Gomez. At that time, some fans were speculating that the "Jealous" hitmaker was making a reference to Selena's latest hit "Good for You" when he sings, "You say I never been good for you/ You can't deny I gave it good to you."

Nick only fueled the rumors when he later "favorited" a couple of fans' tweets that related his song to Selena. "When u hang out with Selena Gomez," read one tweet. Another said, "Oh my gosh. Nick. Selena. Never thought I'd be saying this again! Area Code references 'Good for You'."
