AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato appears to assure fans that she and Selena Gomez are currently friends despite a comment she made in a new interview with Complex. Shortly after the magazine published its latest issue, she urged her Twitter followers not to "read into the bulls**t."
In the Complex interview, Demi gave an unexpected statement when discussing her friendship with Selena. "You and Selena Gomez used to be close, but you've had some ups and downs over the years. Are you talking anymore?" the interviewer asked, to which Demi simply replied, "Nope."
Her answer came as a huge surprise to many fans because the two superstars seemed to be on good terms again when they posed for a selfie two weeks ago. The duo made funny faces in the picture shared on Instagram by Demi, who captioned it, "Look at how #coolforthesummer we are.. Friends for years, #sameoldlove."
