The Australia-born model urges her fans to boycott the eight issue of Untitled magazine after she learned that the magazine published 'unapproved' semi-nude photos of her and sold them.

Ruby Rose was shocked when she learned that Untitled magazine published "unapproved" semi-nude photos of her in its eight issue and sold the photos to other publications. The "Orange Is the New Black" actress took to Instagram on Monday, September 21 to urge her fans to boycott the magazine.
Ruby posted a screengrab showing a notification to confirm a photo deletion. Alongside the screengrab, she wrote a lengthy note to explain what the magazine had done. "I am pro 'free the nipple' so when I was tagged in this photo by fans I wasn't sure where it came from but I assumed a BTS from a friends shoot or one where we had approved slightly transparency in an image," she explained.
"Imagine my shock to find that @theuntitledmagazine decided to publish images of me after we explained we wouldn't be doing the shoot if I wasn't appropriately covered," the Australia-born model continued. "The difference with working with a friend and or choosing to use nudity for art / and someone taking the piss and exploiting you is two different things."
The model then claimed that the magazine even sold some unauthorized photos of her. "Not only is this 8 months old.. The photos unapproved but they also sold photos to other publications. The interview made no sense 8 months on," she explained.
Ruby then urged her fans not to buy the issue of the magazine. "Please if you are a fan of mine boycott this issue. Or you are buying into greedy, exploitative propaganda," she said. "I have plenty of other shoots I'm proud of with professionals coming up its not needed in your collection."
Responding to Ruby's statement on Instagram, the magazine posted on Twitter, "@RubyRose One of the most important issues today is #equality. We would never publish unapproved photos. We do not believe in exploitation!" Shortly after the tweet, the magazine posted a link to the interview Ruby did with them.
The Australian model was clearly unsatisfied by how the magazine handled this issue. She then took to Instagram to comment on the magazine's statement. " 'We do not believe in exploitation' however we have seen how upset you are at unapproved published images of you topless in our 'girl power magazine' we figure while all the publicity around it," she wrote.
Ruby actually only needed them to apalogize and remove the photos. "Let's post our 'exclusive' 'interview' 'now!!' Hashtag absolute morons. I'm in shock at how cheap and petty this is. When a simple deletion and apology was all it should have been," she concluded.
