New photos of John Diggle's (David Ramsey) costume for "Arrow" season 4 are shared online after it was first revealed earlier this month. The latest pictures give a detailed look at Diggle's new suit from head to toe.

In one of the images, he takes off his helmet and his jacket, revealing a leather vest and a utility belt. He dons black pants and boots of the same hue. In the second snap, meanwhile, he dons his full costume while holding a gun.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim has said that Diggle was never a fan of super suit. "I don't think Diggle looks at it as a costume per se," he told EW. "Oliver [Stephen Amell], in the last season, gave him advice in terms of concealing his identity, and so Diggle approaches it from a very practical standpoint. He followed Oliver's advice and he's got a means of concealing his identity, but I think Diggle would probably react to anyone calling it a costume."

At the beginning of the fourth season, Diggle will "take on a leadership role on Team Arrow in Oliver's absence," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg previously revealed. Now, EP Wendy Mericle adds that "the city has declined drastically despite the best efforts of Dig, Speedy and Black Canary."

On a popular fan theory about Oliver running for Mayor, Mericle tells TVLine, "He will definitely be coming more to the fore as Oliver Queen and balancing that with his new role as the Green Arrow. He'll be bringing some light to the city. I can't say exactly how, but that's his goal."

"Arrow" returns for a fourth season Wednesday, October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
