The Roger Daltrey-fronted band will not kick off their tour until September 24 since he recovers from an unspecified illness.

AceShowbiz - The Who is forced to reschedule the first four concerts of their upcoming 50th-anniversary tour. The postponement is made on doctor's order to give the band's lead singer, Roger Daltrey, proper time to recover from an unspecified virus he contracted.

They were supposed to kick off the tour on September 14 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, but they now will not begin until September 24. The other delayed concerts are September 16 at Honda Center in Anaheim, September 19 at Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and September 21 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.

On top of that, the band has apologetically cancelled their September 18 performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Details on the rescheduled dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
