'It's an honor to help celebrate the 95th anniversary of the competition and to help select the next Miss America,' Zendaya commented.

AceShowbiz - The upcoming Miss America pageant will see Zendaya Coleman serving as one of the judges. Signed on to judge the 95th anniversary of the pageant, the actress-singer will be joining Brett Eldredge, snowboarding bronze medalist Amy Purdy, and Taya Kyle, author and wife of the late U.S. Navy Seal Chris Kyle.

Speaking of her upcoming gig, Zendaya was quoted by PEOPLE as saying, "It's great to be part of a show that celebrates women who are in college or graduated, and striving to make the world a better place through their chosen platform, ranging from domestic violence and bullying to cancer research and female empowerment, while also embracing beauty and fashion." The pop star added, "I remember watching Miss America as a kid, so it's an honor to help celebrate the 95th anniversary of the competition and to help select the next Miss America."

The upcoming 95th anniversary of Miss America pageant will have seven judges in total. More announcements are expected to be made of the event that will host women from all 52 states who will compete for the title and a scholarship. The event will air live from Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall on September 13 on ABC.
