Agent May is struggling to decide whether to dedicate her time to the organization or to focus on her personal life instead.

AceShowbiz - S.H.I.E.L.D. could be losing another of its original members in season 3. When "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns this fall, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) won't be back to the agency for a while as she questions whether the agency needs her focus or not.

"In any situation when someone is so devoted to their work as May was, but then realizing over the last two years that S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't really what she dedicated her life to," the actress explains to TV Guide about her character.

"That there was definitely a lot of corruption to S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as uncertainty now with the Inhumans being brought in by Coulson (Clark Gregg). It's going to be figuring out her final decision in season 3 and I think Andrew (Blair Underwood) will probably play a part in it."

On the other hand, May's ex Andrew has gotten over his grudge against S.H.I.E.L.D. and dedicates more of his time to the organization. "What's interesting is now May is disgruntled by S.H.I.E.L.D., but last season when May came to Andrew with the idea of coming back to S.H.I.E.L.D., he was disgruntled and had left the agency," Underwood says. "But now he's back working with them and the Inhumans."

"S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 will see Skye (Chloe Bennet) assigned by Coulson to assemble a new team of super humans. Thus, the show will introduce new friends and foes inspired by the critically acclaimed Secret Warriors comic series.

The series will return with the new season Tuesday, September 29 at 9 P.M. on ABC.
