Louis Tomlinson's relationship with his estranged dad, Troy Austin, isn't getting any better. The estranged dad reportedly threatened the One Direction singer with a bombshell revelation if the latter continues to snub him.

"Troy has always wanted to repair that relationship - but if Louis isn't prepared to do so, he's told a few friends he has something which would really throw a grenade into things," a source told Sunday People. "He sees it as his final shot at getting Louis's attention, and he's said he will drop the bombshell it if he feels it's the only option he's got left, even though it would come as a massive shock."

Apparently, Troy doesn't really care if what he does will make his relationship with his former family worse. "He knows it could cause another big rift within the family but is starting to feel he has nothing left to lose," the source added.

When the news broke that Louis was expecting a baby with stylist Briana Jungwirth, Troy said that he was delighted with the news and believed the baby would help him heal his family rift. "I'd like to be involved in my grandchild's life. I've missed out on Louis' life and I'd like to make up for that," Troy said. "It's definitely time to heal the rift. Life is too short."

Louis has had so little to do with his biological father as he took his stepdad's surname Tomlinson. Furthermore, the 1D member hasn't spoken to Troy, who split from the singer's mom when he was just five years old, since the two were involved in a furious telephone call three years ago.
