"Arrow" has just cast one more enemy for the upcoming fourth season. British actor Jimmy Akingbola has been tapped to play Baron Reiter, a foil for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), in flashbacks.

In the comic books, Baron Reiter is known as Nazi super villain Baron Blitzkreig, the leader of criminal organization Shadowspire. The organization first made their appearance in "Deathstroke" No. 53, in which they supplied South American drug cartels with weapons, transportation, technology and intelligence.

Akingbola's character will act as an adversary for Oliver, and will appear in flashback scenes. "We wanted a really great villain for Oliver in the flashbacks," writer/producer Marc Guggenheim said. Although Baron Reiter is said to be another version of Baron Blitzkreig, Guggenheim explained that the two characters actually have different background.

"We took the name Baron Reiter without any intention of turning him into Baron Blitzkrieg," Guggenheim said. "Baron Blitzkreig is the evil Nazi super villain. Baron Reiter is not going to become Baron Blitzkreig in the show," he continued.

Akingbola joins a number of previously-confirmed actors for "Arrow" season 4, including Neal McDonough (Damien Darhk), Alexander Calvert (Anarky) and Echo Kellum (Mister Terrific). "Arrow" season four will premiere October 7 at 8 P.M. on The CW.

Akingbola recently appeared on "Sons of Liberty" and "Rev". He also starred on "Holby City" and "Holby Blue".
