The singer slipped and fell really hard during an appearance at the Sunday, July 5 pool party hosted by 102.7 KIISFM to promote her new single.

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato is still too "Cool for the Summer" despite an embarrassing incident happening while she was promoting her new single. The singer made fun of herself after she took a nasty fall during a performance at a pool party on Sunday afternoon, July 5.

At the party hosted by 102.7 KIISFM and taking place at the WaterMarke Tower in Downtown Los Angeles, Lovato was standing on top of a platform placed in the middle of the pool when she slipped and fell really hard. A true professional, she immediately got up and jumped into the pool to join her fans.

The former Disney star then took to social media to share a video of the incident and laughed it off. "Well...It's not a tour without busting ass!!!!" she wrote on Twitter. "#NOTCoolForTheSummer #F**kIt."

Co-written by hitmakers Max Martin and Savan Kotecha, "Cool for the Summer" was released earlier this month as the lead single off Lovato's upcoming album, which is due out later this year. A music video has been shot and is expected to arrive in the coming days.
