Movie

The 34-year-old actress shared an Instagram video which features herself performing awesome sword skills as she prepared for her role as Psylocke in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.

AceShowbiz - Fans have gotten lots of details about the upcoming superhero movie "X-Men: Apocalypse" from director Bryan Singer. This time, one of the cast members, Olivia Munn, teased fans with an Instagram video which shows her sword skills.

The video was seemingly taken during Munn's exercise to prepare for her performance as Betsy Braddock or best known as Psylocke. The 34-year-old actress twirls a prop sword repeatedly and shows off her skills which she called "new tricks."

In the comics, Psylocke is a female mutant who has telepathy and telekinesis powers and later turns into a ninja assassin who fights with swords she created with her mind, but she is also incredibly skilled with a real sword/katana.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" takes place a decade after "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and is a seamless next step in the story. The altering of time has unleashed a new and uniquely powerful enemy. Xavier (James McAvoy), Erik/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Hank/Beast (Nicholas Hoult) are joined by young Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Storm (Halle Berry), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and others as the X-Men must fight their most formidable foe yet - an ancient unrelenting force determined to cause an apocalypse unlike any in human history.

Produced by Singer, Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner and Hutch Parker, the movie is targeted for a U.S. release on May 27, 2016.
