Florence Welch dedicates her and her band's performance of 'Times Like These' to Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl who can't perform at the festival after breaking his leg in an incident earlier this month.

AceShowbiz - Florence and the Machine covered a Foo Fighters song during their set at Glastonbury on Friday night, June 26. Florence Welch and Co. treated the crowd to a version of "Times Like These" as they filled in for the band, which was forced to cancel their headlining appearance at the festival after frontman Dave Grohl fell off stage and injured his leg during a concert earlier this month.

Before starting the song, Welch praised Grohl and thanked him for his support early in her career. "We would like to dedicate this next song to the legend and all around incredible human being, Dave Grohl," she said. "He was so incredibly kind and supportive to us when we were first starting out and we were so sad to hear that he broke his leg because we love him so much."

As previously reported, Grohl broke his leg while in the middle of a show at the Ullevi stadium in Gothenberg, Sweden. He and his band later announced that they'd decided to cancel the rest of their European tour dates, which included a stop at Glastonbury.

"The doctors have told us to cancel shows. I'm really so sorry, guys. You know I hate to do it, but I'm afraid it's just not physically possible for me at the moment. We're doing our best right now to work out a plan, so bear with us," he said while detailing the incident in a post on his group's website last week.
