Poo Bear, who produced the song, premieres the Diplo and Skrillex-free version which he says was recorded for Bieber's own album.

AceShowbiz - While Justin Bieber's collaboration with Jack U a.k.a. Diplo and Skrillex, "Where Are U Now", remains one of the hottest hits in the country, another version of the track has arrived online. Poo Bear, one of the producers behind the track, premiered on Thursday, June 11 the original, slowed down version which he said was recorded by the Canadian singer for his own album.

"This was the version that was cut before Diplo and Skrillex actually got a hold of it and put that incredible sound on it," Poo Bear said on Dash Radio, as quoted by JustJared. "It just went gold actually yesterday, congratulations Jack U & Justin. If I'm not mistaken, this version will go on his album."

"Where Are U Now" with Jack U is currently sitting at No. 19 on Billboard Hot 100. A music video has been shot, but has yet to have an official release date.

Meanwhile, Bieber has been working hard on his new full-length with hitmakers like Kanye West and Rick Rubin. It's still unclear when exactly the follow-up to 2012's "Believe" will arrive, but the "Baby" singer has said that he's in no rush to get it done because he wanted it to be "the best piece of art that I can create, something that's really near and dear to my heart."

"I know there's a lot of stuff that I've been going through over the past few years. I just really want to bleed it on this record," he said in an interview last April. "I just want people to know that I'm not playing around... I want to do something that I know that I can feel and people are going to feel it through my music. I'm pretty silent about what I've been going through, and just growing up in this life is hard. So I want to translate that."
