New 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Set Photo Shows Cerebro
Movie

Director Bryan Singer shares on Instagram a picture of Charles Xavier's human-detector machine.

AceShowbiz - Director Bryan Singer has been very active in teasing fans about his upcoming movie "X-Men: Apocalypse". On Thursday, June 4, he shared on Instagram a photo which shows himself in front of Cerebro set.

The director made it clear that the upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" would feature at least one scene in Cerebro. "Cerebro is Spanish for brain. #Xmen #XmenApocalypse," Singer captioned the photo. The big round room first appeared in first "X-Men" movie back in 2000. It seems like James McAvoy's Charles Xavier will once again use the device to detect humans, specifically mutants.

"X-Men: Apocalypse" takes place a decade after "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and is a seamless next step in the story. The altering of time has unleashed a new and uniquely powerful enemy. Xavier (McAvoy), Erik/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Hank/Beast (Nicholas Hoult) are joined by young Cyclops, Storm, Jean and others as the X-Men must fight their most formidable foe yet - an ancient unrelenting force determined to cause an apocalypse unlike any in human history.

Olivia Munn is added as Psylocke, joining other new members like Ben Hardy, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Lana Condor who are cast as Archangel, young Jean Grey, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Storm, and Jubilee respectively. Singer also produces the movie along with Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner and Hutch Parker. It is targeted for a U.S. release on May 27, 2016.
