AceShowbiz - Fans can expect to see Caliban in "X-Men: Apocalypse". Director Bryan Singer has revealed and teased the character's appearance in the upcoming movie by sharing on Instagram a behind-the-scenes picture of him filming a scene in what he describes in the caption as "Caliban's place of business."
Caliban first appeared in "Uncanny X-Men" #148 in 1981. The albino mutant has the ability to locate other mutants and lives underground in a series of tunnels along with Callisto and other Morlocks. In the comics, he's later enhanced by Apocalypse, making him one of En Sabah Nur's Horsemen.
So far, there's still no word on who will play Caliban in "Apocalypse". The next "X-Men" movie has Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters on board to reprise their respective roles from the previous installment. Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp and Olivia Munn are among new cast members.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is due out in the U.S. on May 27, 2016.
