Olivia Munn Debuts Psylocke's Purple Hairdo on 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Set

Munn rocks purple locks as she's spotted petting her dog on the Montreal set of the Bryan Singer-directed mutant film.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Munn has got a hair makeover for her upcoming movie, "X-Men: Apocalypse". The actress, who is cast as Psylocke, sported purple hairdo in Montreal, Canada, where the movie is currently being filmed. She was spotted on the set as she was petting her dog.

Felix Lariviere, hair designer for the movie, has previously confirmed that Munn would rock Psylocke's signature purple locks. As for her costume, the actress teased it when she shared a picture of her wearing a black latex bodysuit and a blue latex glove. She captioned it, "If the latex fits..."

Bryan Singer is directing the film which takes place a decade after "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and is a seamless next step in the story. The altering of time has unleashed a new and uniquely powerful enemy.

Charles (James McAvoy), Erik/Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Raven/Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Hank/Beast (Nicholas Hoult) are joined by young Cyclops, Storm, Jean and others as the X-Men must fight their most formidable foe yet - an ancient unrelenting force determined to cause an apocalypse unlike any in human history.

Besides Munn, other new cast members include Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Ben Hardy (Archangel), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), and Alexandra Shipp (Storm).

20th Century Fox has booked May 27, 2016 as a U.S. release date for the film.
