Max Greenfield Joins 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

The actor who plays Schmidt on 'Girls' is set to check into 'AHS: Hotel' which is due to premiere on FX this October.

AceShowbiz - "American Horror Story" announces another new addition to the cast ensemble of the upcoming "Hotel" installment. Max Greenfield known for his role as Schmidt on "Girls" is confirmed by series creator Ryan Murphy that the actor has landed a role in the new season.

"This October, Max Greenfield (like you've never seen him) is checking in to the hotel ... but not checking out. #AHSHotel," Murphy broke the casting news on twitter, to which the actor quickly replied, "Thank you @MrRPMurphy .....It's ON! #AHSHotel."

He joins the likes of Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, and Matthew Bomer. Angela Bassett who starred in the two "AHS" previous installments, "Coven" and "Freak Show", is set to return to the FX anthology series as well.
