During the final part of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion, aired on Mother's Day, NeNe Leakes sobbed over her past experience. NeNe stormed out during the counseling session, where she felt attacked by the other cast members and was put as a victim.

NeNe said as she cried, "My mother didn't raise me. My father never claimed me. I have been lied to, I have been cheated on, I have been in an abusive relationship."

Dr. Jeff, the counselor, told the group in sympathy, "She has been abandoned. She has had those feelings where she felt completely disowned, where she carries this pain. Your pain is part of your power."

As the situation was getting more emotional, the other housewives tried to support NeNe who was visibly shaken. Cynthia Bailey, who cut her ties with NeNe earlier this season, said, "I cannot imagine growing up without my mother." She continued, "I know that NeNe has been through a lot ... You are so blessed, you are so talented. You made it."

Kenya Moore, who earlier accused NeNe of flirting with Cynthia's husband, also sympathized with her. "You think we're all against you," she told NeNe. "We have a lot more in common than you even want to admit."

NeNe got up to walk out of the room but was delayed by the women who gave her a group hug. She said, "I can't talk about my mom." Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams and Cynthia took her out of the room as she continued to weep uncontrollably.

The host Andy Cohen asked her husband, Gregg Leakes, the story behind her tear. "Her mom had five children when she was very young. And she couldn't take care of five kids," Gregg told Andy. "She sent NeNe and her brother to Athens to be raised by her aunt ... she has always wondered why she had to be one of the ones sent away. It's bugged her her whole life."

The girls, who earlier had disagreement with NeNe, were willing to cease the feud. "I don't want to fight with anybody anymore," Claudia Jordan said. "What are we going to get out of that?"

When NeNe returned, she explained what she concealed for a long time, "Maybe I have been misunderstood. People think I haven't been through anything in my life. And I don't talk about some of those things...it's hard to talk about my mom and dad."

NeNe also expressed her willingness to get back with the other housewives as saying, "We share a sisterhood ... It's great to know that when something happens, the people who you work with everyday will at least be there for you."
