Riker Lynch and Nastia Liukin top the leaderboard, Chris Soules redeems his bad performance last week, and Patti LaBelle performs a fun routine but gets criticized for lack of content.

AceShowbiz - After dodging elimination last week, Charlotte McKinney who landed in the bottom two along with Redfoo in the first week was sent packing in the third week of "Dancing with the Stars" season 20. "I learned so much. I'm extremely grateful. This has been such a challenge," she said after learning of her fate. "I wanted to make you happy," she told her partner Keo Motsepe while holding back tears.

Earlier that night, the eliminated team as well as ten other pairs danced on Latin Night-themed show. Charlotte & Keo danced the rumba. She was criticized by the judges, particularly for "a lack of concentration." She earned 22 out of 40 points.

Prior to Charlotte & Keo, Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy took the stage first that night to perform the salsa. Len Goodman deemed it the "best dance this season." Carrie Ann Inaba said, "You have such strength and so fierce, but I want to see you let loose a bit, more sharp and freedom." The actress daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore earned 33 points.

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd also danced the salsa, but the result was far below what Rumer achieved. Bruno Tonioli complained that the timing was off. Carrie Ann and Len said the lifts were not good, while Julianne Hough told the NFL star to be careful with his footwork. Michael earned 24 points.

Riker Lynch, on the other hand, came out as a frontrunner with 34 after dancing the salsa with his partner Allison Holker. He ripped open his shirt toward the end of the routine. Carrie Ann gushed, "You blew my mind," but wanted the pair to show "the typical man dominating a women." Julianne loved the energy, adding that she wanted to see more chemistry from Riker and Allison.

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani danced a sweet samba and the judges were nice to her although she lost her footing. Len called it sexy, and Bruno added, "There was a lot of content, so you lost some steps, but good performance." The 68-year-old actress earned 25 points.

Chris Soules was determined to redeem his weak performance last week. He and Witney Carson danced the tango and the judges praised his improvement. "You are the comeback kid. You just came back so focused, you were on point," Julianne commented. Bruno chimed in, "So much stronger, so much more present. It was a good job, your musicality was improved, you just need to have smoother turns." The Iowa farmer earned 28 points.

During rehearsal, Robert Herjavec was struggling with back pain stemming for a car accident three years ago, but he and Kym Johnson continued to show a sweet performance with their rumba. Len suggested him to improve his action and fluidity as Julianne called it "one of your best performances ever." The "Shark Tank" star earned 29 points.

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev danced a sassy cha cha. The judges liked it that it was fun, but criticized the techniques. "You set the bar so high last week and I was a little under whelmed this week," Carrie Ann said, while Len and Bruno said they wanted "more cha cha." The singer earned 22 points, placing her on the bottom of the scoreboard.

Willow Shields was injured during rehearsal, but she didn't show it when she danced a fiery and icy paso doble with Mark Ballas. Len said, "This will be hard to beat." Carrie Ann added, "I don't think we need to talk about your age anymore, because you are a seasoned performer." The young actress earned 32 points.

Noah Galloway danced the Argentine tango with Sharna Burgess without using a prosthetic arm, but he managed to lift his partner with one arm. "That is the best dance you have ever done, your flexibility, it was incredible," Julianne gushed. Bruno praised their partnership and the lifts. The army vet earned 30 points.

Last but not least, Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough danced the samba. Carrie Ann "loved the flexibility," and Len was sure she would not be going home just yet. Julianne, meanwhile, said that she needed "to have loosy goosy arms." The Olympic artistic gymnast earned 34 points.
