The former Disney star features a snippet of her new song in a preview for the drama-comedy series set to premiere on TV Land on March 31.

AceShowbiz - Hilary Duff is coming back with a new single next month. To build the anticipation, the singer/actress shared on Thursday, March 26 a snippet of the song called "Sparks" while also previewing her new TV Land series "Younger".

In the one-minute teaser for the upbeat pop tune, Duff sings the chorus between whistles, "Turn the lights down low and kiss me in the dark/ 'Cause when you're touching me baby I see sparks/ You make my heart go/ You/ You, you make my heart go."

"Sparks" will arrive in its entirety on April 7. It comes to follow up "Chasing the Sun" and "All About You" which were both released last month. The songs are expected to appear on Duff's comeback album, which is now scheduled for release sometime this year.

The mother of one recently talked about the new full-length and what to expect from it in an interview with TIME. "The album has taken on a lot of different lives, which I guess is to be expected when you've taken such big break," she said. "It is a little bit of electro-pop, a lot of it is just straight-forward pop and some of it has gotten pretty dance-y, which is cool. Some songs still have a little bit of a folky side."

While her yet-to-be-titled album has yet to have an official release date, her new show "Younger" will premiere on March 31. On it, she plays Kelsey Peters who befriends Sutton Foster's Liza Miller, a 40-year-old single mother trying to look like she is in her mid-twenties in order to re-enter the workforce.
