British songstress twigs opted to don a multicolored feathered dress from McQueen's Spring-Summer 2008 collection. The floor-length gown was paired with brightly-colored feathered wings which she wore atop her shoulders, finishing at the back of her head. She finished off her look with simple black strappy heels and a slick of bright red lipstick.
48-year-old movie beauty Hayek, meanwhile, made her own fashion statement by wearing a dramatic strapless McQueen gown which featured black lace peacock detail and full ruffled skirt. She completed her look with black cut-out heels and curly hair. She, additionally, wore jewelry by Boucheron and held a small black clutch to finish off her look.
twigs and Hayek were joined for the event by some other celebs, including Kate Moss and her husband Jamie Hince, fellow British supermodels Naomi Campbell and Erin O'Connor, high profile celebrity couple David Beckham and Victoria Adams, as well as Laura Carmichael. The exhibition's official opening is set for this coming Saturday, March 14 and is expected to be the first and largest retrospective of McQueen's work to be presented in Europe.
