The 'Glee' star has signed on to play the role of maid Blanca on Lifetime's soap opera 'Devious Maids'.

Naya Rivera has been cast to play a recurring role on soap opera "Devious Maids" which airs on Lifetime. The part will thus mark her first ever major television role after her hit show "Glee" ends next month.
Deadline broke the news that Rivera is on board portraying "Blanca, a new maid in the neighborhood who has landed a job with the seemingly picture-perfect Beverly Hills family. But she soon discovers a terrible secret-something that could change her life forever." No words though on when the actress will start shooting for the series.
In other news, Rivera reportedly will make a comeback to "The View", serving as co-host for more episodes. No further details have been shared just yet.
"Devious Maids", which is of comedy-drama genre, has been renewed for a third season since it was first premiered in June 2013. It stars the likes of Ana Ortiz as the lead character, and Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem, and Judy Reyes as other maids.
