AceShowbiz - Madame Tussauds London has unveiled a wax work for Katniss Everdeen. The popular character from "The Hunger Games" movie, played by Jennifer Lawrence, has been immortalized in wax and is also featured in Madame Tussauds' L.A. and New York museums.

The Katniss figure showcased in London wears her iconic hunting outfit which consists of a brown leather jacket, matching pants, a gray cowl and knee-high boots. The figure also sports a swept braid do and has her quiver and bow with her. It is displayed in front of a backdrop from the movie.

"We are hugely excited to have worked with Lionsgate to launch a Katniss wax figure following 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1'," Nicole Fenner, PR Manager for Madame Tussauds London, said of the figure. "The figure is in its own film-specific backdrop, allowing our guests to get up close to Katniss and the beloved story of 'The Hunger Games', which we know they'll love."

The one displayed in New York City, meanwhile, has a different costume. Katniss can be seen sporting a black jacket in this version while also sporting her arrow bag and bow, and standing in front of green forest backdrop. The figure in L.A. museum is similar to the one in London.
