Lady GaGa and Dr. Luke's Reps Deny Rape Claim by Kesha's Lawyer
Celebrity

A representative for GaGa has responded to a claim made by Kesha's lawyer on Twitter that Dr. Luke raped the Mother Monster, saying, 'This simply isn't true.'

Shortly after Lady GaGa shared her story that she was raped when she was about 19, Kesha's lawyer Mark Geragos suggested that it was music producer Dr. Luke, who is battling the "Die Young" singer in court, who raped the "Applause" singer. GaGa and Luke, however, denied the claim.

"Mark Geragos' statement is completely false and defamatory," a rep for Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, told E! News on Tuesday, December 2. "Luke met Lady Gaga twice for less than half an hour total in those two meetings combined. He has never been alone with her and never touched her. Neither meeting was in that time frame reported."

"This ridiculous, manufactured link between Lady Gaga and the Kesha-Dr. Luke lawsuit is utterly incomprehensible. This simply isn't true and how dare someone take advantage of such a sensitive matter," GaGa's publicist added.

Geragos made the claim on Twitter earlier on Tuesday. Tweeting a link of a news article about GaGa, he added, "Guess who the rapists was?" A fan then asked him, "Are you insinuating someone that kesha fans would know of?" to which he answered, "Oh yes." He then told fans to "#namethepervert" in his next posts. When someone wrote Lukasz, he said, "Bingo."

The lawyer of the "Tik Tok" hitmaker, formerly known as Ke$ha, insisted that his claim was true. "I said it because it's true," he told TMZ. "The Cosby allegations have now made others more courageous about coming out."
