Sam Smith is bringing his "In the Lonely Hours" tour to North America early next year. According to itinerary posted on his Facebook page on Thursday, October 16, the British sensation will kick off the 16-date trek on January 9 at Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
He will then make stops in other cities across the U.S. including Nashville, Washington, New York, Boston, Detroit and Los Angeles. The tour also includes shows in Montreal and Toronto. It will be wrapped up in Vancouver on February 4.
"I'm so appreciative of how American audiences have embraced my music. I'm thrilled to come back to the U.S. again. This is starting to feel like home!" Smith has said. Tickets for the general public go on sale October 24 at 10:00 A.M.
The tour will support Smith's debut album, "In the Lonely Hour", which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard 200 following its release earlier this year. The record reached No. 1 on the U.K. Albums chart.
