Searching Jimmy Kimmel's name on the internet may put computers in danger. The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" host has been named 2014's most dangerous celebrity to search online by tech security company McAfee, replacing Lily Collins who placed first last year. According to the list released on Tuesday, September 30, internet users will get 1 in 5 chance to click sites containing virus and other malware when they search for videos or download materials related to the talk-show host.
DJ Armin van Buuren is placed second on the list by the tech company after searches for his hits like "This Is What It Feels Like" may bring internet users to unsafe sites. The rest of the list are dominated by singers such as Ciara (3rd place), Bruce Springsteen and Blake Shelton who are placed fifth and sixth respectively.
"Usually it's a woman on top of the list. The only other male celebrity to wind up No. 1 was Brad Pitt in 2008, so there's one more thing Brad Pitt and I have in common. The price of being sexy, I guess," Kimmel reacted to the news.
"You hear that, every girl in the school who wouldn't go to the prom with me, which was every girl in the school? Who would have guessed that a boy who used to carry a briefcase to junior high and played the clarinet would end up being the most dangerous person of 2014?" Kimmel added.
