'The Voice' Blind Auditions - Part 3: Blind Singer and Returning Contestant Wow Coaches
TV

Blessing Offor lost his vision at age 11 but didn't lose his spirit to sing, while Anita Antoinette shows more mature skills after getting eliminated in season 3.

AceShowbiz - "The Voice" continued the search for new faces in music in the third episode of season 7. More singing hopefuls joined the Blind Auditions, including the first-ever blind singer in the show's history, Blessing Offor, who lost all vision at age 11.

The 25-year-old's inspiring story would've definitely melted the hearts of the coaches but they were first impressed by his cover of Bill Withers' "Just the Two of Us". All four coaches turned for him despite his pitchy performance. Blessing eventually picked Pharrell Williams.

Mia Pfirrman also got a four-chair turn with her rendition of Katy Perry's "Unconditionally". Blake Shelton noted she lacked finesse, but Adam Levine said she had plenty of "spectacular" moments. Gwen Stefani and Pharrell also pitched themselves, but she chose to join Team Adam.

Anita Antoinette was saved for the last in the Monday, September 29 episode. She returned to the show after failing in her previous attempt when joining the auditions back in season 3. Having been battling stage fright, she showed that she had used her time honing her craft as her performance of "Turn Your Lights Down Low" made all four coaches turn. The Jamaican native chose Gwen as her coach.

In addition to Anita, Gwen scored Jessie Pitts and Troy Ritchie that night. Adam added Kelli Douglas and Alessandra Castronovo in addition to Mia, Blake won John Martin and picked up Kensington Moore as well as Bree Fondacaro by default, while Pharrell added Michael Stein and Jordy Searcy (besides Blessing) to his team.
