The No Doubt singer has confirmed that she will replace Christina Aguilera as a coach in the fall, but the 'Ain't No Other Man' singer will return for season 8.

AceShowbiz - It's official; Gwen Stefani has signed up for "The Voice" season 7. She will join the show's veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as well as new coach Pharrell Williams in the panel for the upcoming fall installment, replacing Christina Aguilera. The No Doubt singer confirmed the news by posting on Instagram, "it's true! gx @nbcthevoice," along with a photo of her recreating "The Voice" iconic hand gesture.

Xtina congratulated her, tweeting, "So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani! Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses- xoxo #blondesdoitbest." NBC has confirmed that the currently expecting songstress will return for season 8.

Host Carson Daly also announced Stefani's addition to the line-up during the Tuesday, April 29 results show. "Before we start the show, I want to make a very, very big announcement for us here -- hold on, listen!" he said at the beginning of the episode.

"This all just happened moments ago, because we're live, and we're very happy to officially announce that two superstars will be joining the next season in these coaches' chairs: Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will be added to the Voice family. We're so happy to have them join our ever-growing Voice family. They're both incredible people, insanely talented."

Both artists are set to appear in the May 5 telecast as musical performers. Pharrell will sing his new single "Come Get It Bae", while Gwen will cater the crowd with "Hollaback Girl", which was produced by Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Pharrell.

In the April 29 outing, two more singers were cut. Bria Kelly of Team Usher, Tess Boyer of Team Shakira and Kat Perkins of Team Adam were in the bottom three. The three sang for live, with Bria giving it all during her rendition of "Crazy On You" by Heart. Tess looked emotional when performing "Who Knew" by Pink, and Kat rocked out the stage with "Paris (Ooh La La)" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

Kat got the instant save, meaning Bria and Tess were eliminated. Kat is on the Top 8 along with Audra McLaughlin, Josh Kaufman, Christina Grimmie, Jake Worthington, Delvin Choice, Kristen Merlin and Sisaundra Lewis.

Also in the same episode, Usher teamed up with his proteges to sing "Always On The Run" by Lenny Kravitz, while Shakira and her finalists performed her own song "The One Thing". Both coaches now only have one singer left in their team each.
