Macaulay Culkin, who's popular for being a victim of burglaries in "Home Alone" movies, has formed a band called The Pizza Underground. The band, which covers The Velvet Undergound's songs, lives up to its name as they only sing about pizza.

The band has released a demo, in which they sing "Papa John Says", "I'm Beginning to Eat the Slice" and "I'm Waiting for Delivery Man". The songs are parodies of The Velvet Undergound's classics "Stephanie Says", "I'm Beginning to See the Light" and "I'm Waiting for the Man", respectively.

The songs feature cheesy lyrics. Take "Papa John Says" for example. "Papa John says, when answering the phone/ Which toppings should I say you want/ We deliver now," coos one singer. "Papa John says/ Papa John says that he'd like to know why you're giving half your pie to toppings you hate now."

The demo was recorded last month at Culkin's home. The former child star is in charge of playing percussion and kazoo. Other band members include guitarist and singer Matt Colbourn, singer and glockenspiel player Phoebe Kreutz, singer and pizza box player Deenah Vollmer and tambourine player and singer Austin Kilham.

The band, which was formed in February 2012, has played a few gigs too. They recently performed at Comic Arts Brooklyn and played a Lou Reed tribute show at anti-folk landmark the Sidewalk Cafe.
