"True Grit" star Josh Brolin has sought help for substance abuse. According to Us Magazine, the 45-year-old actor recently entered a rehab in Northern California to treat his addiction to booze among others. "He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an insider told the publication.

Brolin, who is in the middle of divorce from actress Diane Lane, was making headlines earlier this month for his drunken behavior. He got into a bar fight with a security guard at O'Briens Irish Pub in Santa Monica, California on November 1. Brolin and the bouncer hugged it out and he then left in a cab.

A day prior, Brolin yelled at a cab driver a Los Angeles Del Taco drive-thru after rear-ending the vehicle. When the taxi driver got out to exchange insurance info, Brolin spatted, "You suck as a cab driver" and accused the driver of trying to earn some cash from him.

On November 4, Brolin told TMZ that he had quit drinking for good. "That's it," Brolin said. "Completely done." Asked about the weekend incidents, he replied "Absolutely, it won't be happening again."
