That's over 2 million more than the season 3 finale, which at the time set a ratings record for the network with 9.6 million viewers. The number also surpassed the biggest viewership by TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8", which previously held the record for a non-fiction cable series with 10.6 million audience.

The August 14 outing lured in 6.3 million adults 18-49 and 3.0 million adults 18-34, becoming the number one series telecast in network history among all key demos. It is poised to be the No.1 show on television, broadcast or cable, on Wednesday night.

In other news, "Duck Dynasty" star Willie Robertson has responded to rumors that he's wanted by Republicans to run for Congress to replace Rodney Alexander. "I heard I was doing that. That's news to me," he told "The Five" hosts. "I'm kinda busy right now. I gotta lot of stuff going on."
