M.I.A.'s long-delayed new album, "Matangi", has now been given an official release date. The British singer's fourth studio album, which follows up 2010's "/\/\/\Y/\", is now set to arrive on November 5.

The release date came shortly after M.I.A. threatened Interscope to leak her upcoming record. She took to Twitter on Friday, August 9, to vent her frustration, writing, "Who would stop MATANGI from coming out?"

"If interscope takes longer i can always leak this next week and make a new one by the time they are ready," she added.

M.I.A. has apparently got tired of waiting for her new album to come out. "Matangi" was originally scheduled to drop last year and later delayed because it was "too positive," according to the "Bring the Noize" singer. "If I didn't get it out now, I would have definitely exploded," she added at the time.

The 38-year-old artist's upcoming LP has so far generated two singles, "Bring the Noize" and "Only 1 U".
