Kelly Rowland Debuts Collaboration With Beyonce and Michelle Williams
Music

It's not a reunion song but it's the closest thing to it, as the Destiny's Child trio teams up for the break-up track.

They may have disbanded years ago but the members of Destiny's Child know they can count on each other whenever either of them needs support for their own individual projects. This was what Kelly Rowland proved to everyone when she debuted her new single "You Changed". The 32-year-old entertainer gets a full DC assist from co-members Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams (II) on the break-up track included in her forthcoming album "Talk a Good Game", due on June 18.

The "Kisses Down Low" singer previewed the new song when she dropped by Raheem DeVaughn's radio show on BLIS.fm. The trio had apparently recorded the track separately, as each of them was busy with their own gigs; Rowland with her "Lights Out" tour, Knowles with her "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" and Williams with her Tony-nominated musical "Fela!", but it sounded like they were in the same recording studio, which goes to show nothing can hold them down from helping Rowland.

It's not an official reunion song but it sure is reminiscent of the trio's days as a singing group, with Rowland kicking off the tune with, "Ladies, ya'll wanna do it again?" After dropping her verse, Knowles and Williams follow suit with their solos on the soulful mid-tempo track about moving on after a failed relationship.

The release of "You Changed" comes a day after Rowland made an emotional live rendition of her single "Dirty Laundry" during her concert at The Fillmore Silver Springs in Washington D.C. The pop/R'n'B star broke into tears two-thirds into her performance, tapping into some real emotions as she openly sang about being jealous of Knowles and revealed her past involvement in an abusive relationship.
