The Magneto depicter jokes about marrying the Professor X of 'X-Men' before clarifying that he will preside over his good friend's wedding.

Ian McKellen is going to lend a helping hand at Patrick Stewart's wedding later this year. Sir McKellen confirmed on "The Jonathan Ross Show" that he would officiate his good buddy's nuptials with 35-year-old jazz singer fiancee Sunny Ozell.
"I'm going to marry Patrick," McKellen joked on the TV show to a huge laughter from audience when the topic of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" came up. The movie veteran then clarified, "How else do you put that? I’m going to officiate at his wedding."
It will not be the first time McKellen presides over a wedding though. The actor previously helped "two guys having a civil partnership." He said, "I was crying my eyes out," remembering that he donned "something I bought in India that was rather fetching."
He added, "You mustn't upstage the bride."
Both McKellen, 73, and Stewart, 72, will reprise their respective iconic roles in the next installment of "X-Men" movie franchise. The former will return as Magneto and the latter will be back as Professor X. The younger versions of their characters will be played by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy once again.
