There's a rumor on the street that there's a crack in Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith's marriage that he's trying to fix. The "Desperado" actor reportedly is fighting to save his marriage in the wake of reports of his longtime affairs.

Griffith was seen without her wedding ring recently, leading to speculation that the marriage was really on the rocks. However, Banderas is said trying hard to keep their marital problems off the court. "Antonio has been desperately trying to win Melanie's trust back," a source told Radar Online.

The source added, "He has been doing everything in his power to revive the romance - flowers, sweet-talking on the phone, and extravagant gifts - because he realizes that she is close to her breaking point." The tactic reportedly worked and Griffith started wearing the bling again, but she is keeping her distance. "The day Antonio flew into Los Angeles for a work gig, Melanie left with the kids for Aspen. She isn't messing around," the source claimed.

No rep for both actors has made a comment. Banderas and Griffith have been married since 1996 and have one daughter together.
