"Prometheus" viral campaign team has unleashed two high-resolution images from the much awaited space thriller. The first image was found in ProjectPrometheus.com by adding "Eridu" to the URL. To unlock the image, users can use "tell abu shahrain" as the password. The result is a gorgeous wallpaper of the titular spaceship descending among clouds.
The second photo shows the ship landing on a what seems to be an alien planet with its crew coming out from a smaller rover vehicle. This image can be obtained by adding "245409" to the URL.
Before releasing the two images, Weyalnd Industries viral campaign has uncovered a picture that presents a stunning shot of a sparkling star map in what looks like a control room. Additionally, the marketing team has already debuted two viral clips.
One of the clips gives a look at Guy Pearce's Peter Weyland, who promotes a world change through his company during a TED Conference in 2023. The other one presents Michael Fassbender's andorid David being made in the Weyland fabric.
"Prometheus" tells a groundbreaking mythology in which a group of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. The discovery lead them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe, where they embark on a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
To open in the U.S. on June 8, the highly anticipated sci-fi pic is directed by Ridley Scott. Joining Fassbender and Pearce in the cast ensemble are Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba and Ben Foster.
