A brand new full trailer for Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" has been debuted. The sneak peek that unveils tons of never-before-seen intense footage was introduced on Sunday, March 28 during a panel at the 2012 WonderCon in Anaheim, California, where Scott along with Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender, as well as scribe Damon Lindelof were all on hand for a Q&A session.

The trailer itself presents a better idea at the plot of this sci-fi thriller. It follows the Prometheus spaceship as it first lands on a strange planet after a group of scientists discovered a pictogram at an ancient site. Also featured in the new sneak peek is a quick glimpse at the Space Jockey from Scott's 1979 "Alien".

Despite the fact that the fresh trailer is jam-packed with creepy scenes, Scott insisted that the movie is not related to horror genre. "The bottom line is just to make a good movie," he said during the panel. "Just make a f****ing good movie. It's got nothing to do with horror or whatever. That's why there's only a few really, really great ones. Thereafter, there are only evolutions of copycats."

Aside from the trailer, 20th Century Fox has also unleashed a fresh viral video. Made in the form of a faux advertisement, it gives a look at Fassbender's character, David, who happens to be an android created by the Weyland Industries. It brings up the slogan that says, "Big things have small beginnings."

Asked about his approach in playing an android with no emotion, Fassbender explained, "You want to play with as many of those human traits as possible. You're essentially trying to build a computer that has a physicality to it, that can respond and understand human behavior. It's programmed to be able to incorporate itself within a human environment."

"So, what happens when you program that and the program then starts making its own connections and joins up to its own electrical linking to other areas and forming its own ego, insecurities, jealousy and envy? I don't really think too much about things," the actor continued. "I just try to explore what's happening within the scene, moment to moment."

In "Prometheus", Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a group of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. The discovery lead them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe, where they embark on a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Joining Theron and Fassbender in the cast ensemble are Logan Marshall-Green, Noomi Rapace, Ben Foster, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce. This highly anticipated sci-fi movie is set to arrive in the U.S. theaters on June 8.
