Young Buck has to thank lady luck for staying by his side early Sunday, March 4 morning. The former G-Unit member has become a target in a drive-by shooting in his native Nashville, Tennessee, but managed to dodge nearly a dozen bullets that were fired at his SUV, WSMV-TV reported.

Metro Police said that Buck's car was hit 11 times at approximately 3:30 A.M. when a white Chevrolet Tahoe drove past it and opened fire. While the 30-year-old MC and another passenger escaped unscathed, his girlfriend Kenyetta Rainey needed treatment at Vanderbilt Hospital after getting hit once in the shoulder. She has since been released from the hospital.

Buck, whose real name is David Darnell Brown, told police he was back in town for a music project. Before the shooting took place, the "Let Me In" rapper and his girlfriend had an argument with other people at the night club La Bamba in South Nashville. Accordingly, the couple and the people they were arguing with left the club at the same time.

This wasn't the first time Buck got involved in a gun-related controversy. The rapper pleaded not guilty to felony gun possession charges back in March 2011 after federal agents alleged they found a .40-caliber pistol and ammunition at his Nashville home. Seven years prior, he got in trouble for stabbing a man in the chest at the VIBE Awards.
