Kim Kardashian, her sisters, QuickTrim and several stores are named in a $5 million lawsuit that accused the parties of spreading lies about a diet regime. The suit which was filed in New York by Bursor & Fisher claimed there was no way the Kardashian girls got their bikini bodies from taking the QuickTrim diet pills.

A bunch of customers, whose names are not revealed, said Kardashians fed the public with lies about the QuickTrim products that they endorse, particularly because the sisters speak highly of them. The Manhattan federal court filing said QuickTrim is "marketed by the defendants as a clinically proven formula that will increase metabolism, curb appetite and promote weight loss."

However the suit said, "In reality, QuickTrim's main ingredient is a large dose of caffeine, which the FDA has determined is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control." The plaintiffs said they would never have purchased the products if they knew about this.
