Adam Lambert has showcased his brand new single "Better Than I Know Myself" live for the very first time. The runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 debuted the song when visiting "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" for an episode that aired January 17.

Beside debuting the song, Lambert also used the opportunity to show off his new look. The "Whataya Want From Me" hitmaker, who's famous for his glam rock look, appeared on stage wearing light makeup. He additionally looked dapper in a tux and button-up shirt minus a tie.

"Better Than I Know Myself" is the first official single from Lambert's second studio album "Trespassing" which is slated to come out in the United States on March 20. Its music video, which is directed by Ray Kay, is expected to premiere sometime soon.
