Adam Lambert has just finished video shoot for his new single "Better Than I Know Myself". The singer, who claimed his fame after competing on the eighth season of "American Idol", took to his Twitter to inform his followers about the filming.

"The BTIKM video has been filmed! We wrapped just before 4am! An intense 20 HOUR day!! Thanks to the amazing crew! Can't wait to share," Lambert tweeted. He also thanked the director, "@Ray_Kay thanks for everything!! Can't wait to see it!!"

Lambert released "Better Than I Know Myself" as the first official offering his upcoming second studio album "Trespassing". Serving as an executive producer, he's going to make the CD available for purchase across the United States on March 20, 2012.

He promised to take his devotees to "an exciting journey through the past two years" of his life. He added, "It's been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I've experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality."

Beside producing, Lambert also co-wrote many of the tracks. He collaborated with an all-star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa and BC Jean.
