Warner Bros. Pictures has celebrated the release of "Green Lantern" by holding a Los Angeles premiere at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Blake Lively was among actors supporting the event, which happened on Wednesday, June 15.

The 23-year-old beauty, who is rumored dating Leonardo DiCaprio, stole the spotlight with her white gown decorated with applique flowers. During the premiere, she covered her perfect pins with sheer skirt which draped from the main part of her gown.

Joining the blond star was Angela Bassett, who hit the black carpet in her black gown and matching stockings. Male cast members Ryan Reynolds, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard and Tim Robbins added masculine touch at the event.

"Dancing with the Stars" beauty Karina Smirnoff and "The Hangover Part II" actor Jason Bateman were among other Hollywood stars attending the premiere. The Ukrainian dancer looked dazzling in her blue dress, while the actor donned a simple black outfit.

Directed by Martin Campbell, "Green Lantern" revolves around Reynolds' Hal, an ordinary man chosen by a dying alien named Abin Sur to receive a green energy-powered ring used for protecting the planet. As a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the universe, the fate of Earth lies in Hal's hands.
