Christopher Lloyd who is better known as Dr. Emmett L. "Doc" Brown in 1980s classic "Back to the Future" will be guest starring on FOX's "Fringe" early next year. Lloyd is due to film his cameo next week in Vancouver and the episode will be aired as the tenth episode of this season.

The casting news came from TV Guide which also dug information from John Noble about the role. "We all know how much Walter loves music, right? Well this fellow was one of his icons," Noble revealed. "He adored this man. So Walter gets to be a bit of a fanboy."

Noble added, "It's a beautiful role and such good casting. When I read the script I thought 'I hope hey get someone great.' And Christopher Lloyd exceeds my expectations!"

"Back to the Future" is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The cast such as Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, Elisabeth Shue and Loyd were recently invited to relive the memory at 2010 Scream Awards.
