Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne will have more times alone at New York's Rikers Island prison now that he is placed in the facility's version of solitary confinement. NY Daily News reported that the "Lollipop" hitmaker has to serve time in the isolation cell after he was found with a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player in his cell.

Correction Department spokesman Stephen Morello confirmed Wayne's transfer to the solitary confinement on Monday, October 3. "He's not in an area where he is mingling with other inmates - ever," a Correction Department source stated. Because of his infraction, Wayne will have to spend up to 23 hours a day in the isolation cell until his scheduled released on November 4.

Though Wayne still has his one hour of recreational time, it will only be a solo workout. Meanwhile, his doctor visit will be monitored by guards in order to prevent him from making contact with other jailbirds. As for his phone privileges, Wayne will only get one personal phone call a week.

Lil Wayne began his jail time on March 8. He was sentenced to a year behind bar after he was convicted of illegal weapons possession. Back in May, DJ Scoob Doo revealed that Wayne was prepared to take a punishment for his prison "contraband", including iPod earphones and a charger. Scoob revealed, "He said, 'Yeah, they tried to bang me with that. But I can't live without my music, Scoob. You know how it is, man. I needed my music. It's all good; I had to take my lil slip up. I ain't trippin'."
