The show's 20 best castaways are back for 'revenge' and 'redemption' in the 'biggest battle in the survivor history'.

It is now confirmed that the twentieth edition of "Survivor" will be an All-Star cast. Called "Heroes Vs. Villains", the edition will consist of 20 people from the previous 19 seasons who will have to survive the hard terrain again in a jungle deep inside South Pacific.

One side is chosen based on skills, deception, manipulation and duplicity. These ten are called the Villains. The other side, which is for Heroes, is defined by their integrity, courage and honor. Together they will seek either revenge or redemption.

Cast are not yet announced but they reportedly had gone into production right after the recently-wrapped "Survivor" finished shooting in Samoa. To save cost, it was filmed also in Samoa using some of the same location. Rumor has it, some of cast are Coby Archa (Survivor: Palau), JT Thomas (Survivor: Tocantins), Tom Westman (Survivor: Palau), Jessica "Sugar" Kiper (Survivor: Gabon), Courtney Yates (Survivor: China) and Jerri Manthey (Survivor: The Australian Outback).

Richard Hatch who won the first "Survivor" was previously asked to return for "Heroes Vs. Villains" but he was under house arrest and thus should get a permission to leave the country. The federal judge in Rhode Island denied his request. However, the episode where he was pronounced the original sole survivor was used heavily in the promo, leading to speculation that he participated eventually.

During the reunion episode where Natalie White was crowned the winner of "Survivor: Samoa", host Jeff Probst said that the show would return on February 11 with two-hour season premiere.
